| Application |
Mainly used as disintegrant and adhesive of solid dosage. Its powder has a large surface area and porosity so that accelerates the absorption temperature,increasing the swelling property which makes tablet easy to collapse. In the meanwhile, a larger mosaic effect among its rough structure,drugs and particles improvs the hardness and gloss of the tablet. To the drug that cannot easily be shaped, it will promote it molding, improve its hardness. To the drug with poor disintegrating property, it will accelerate the collapse so that improve the dissolution to enhanced bioavailability. |
